Heh. Today is a special day. And i had the sweetest surprise yst. ^_^ Candice and HL came all the way down to celebrate my birthday for me. Collaborated with Ailina and Sheri to surprise me at the void deck. Ok. I was close to tears and really really really deeply moved. Hehe. Just checking in for a lil update.

Yay! Tues was a successful birthday celebration for the nov babies!!! And it was a really pleasant surprise when the cpolo babes and *ahem* 2 hunks(???) secretly planned to include the celebration of mine as well!!! Totally unexpected!!! Thanx peepz. ^o^ Anyway the funniest thing was that on our shopping spree to get Belle and Joey's prezzies, they were also looking out for mine. And i was so damn blur!!! Didn't even smell a rat. But glad that everything turned out GREAT!!! Joey and belle liked their prezzies and stuff and we all got CREAMED!!! *lol* I think almost everyone got it bad except Lizard! Not shy! Here's evidence!!!



Oh and went to M'sia yst to have dinner. Suppose to be a Rovers outing of some sort but only Thomas, HL and i went. Shamelessly, we had dinner but ended up without having enough cash $$$ to pay up!!! *gasps* So what happened? They got us to help them wash dishes and serve up food!!! *sniffs* Hehehehe. Gotcha! Nah...the aunty who's stall we regularly patronize after our treks decided to help us pay up for our drinks and even loaned us 5 ringgits to get transportation back to the causeway. What an episode!!! Haha. Then the 3 goondos went to take a bus instead, not 100% knowing where it was gonna take us. (the bus route was quite different) BUT thankfully we got back to city square in one peice! Then i nearly got knocked down by cars. And we got in the way of some motorbike on the conjested roads. Damn. *lol* And we were all frikkin full from all the food *ahem* we ate!!! *burps* Funny how it all turned out to be a lil adventure across the causeway.

Have to make sure i'd go back there to pay the nice aunty her cash. *lol* And Thomas and HL nicely told her that i would. Ah well...fun day out guys. Great way to relax! And i am still relaxing. Had better be off to do my essay again!

Ever felt torn apart by promises or the mere notion of it?

Sometimes, being an idealist doesn't help you realise that things do change. The river is in constant flow and you can never step into the same spot twice. But yet, there is always the fallacy of wanting to make everything happen. "Promising" that things are possible when sometimes, they are indeed beyond your means to do so.

I reckon that ever since my entry into canoe polo...there are alot of things i have to give up. I love the game mind you. I really do. And then there is also what i use to do. Rovers. Uh huh. Now that i have committed myself to play for the team, there is less chance that i can help out. Just like how i realise that i made an agreement too quickly to help out in one of the trips...before realising i got the dat messed up. Damn. And since competition's round the corner, every training is precious. Ah well...someone said no one will blame me. But there is the inherent need in me to always want the easy way out. The way where no one will get hurt, or in this case lose. But life is never a win-win situation. For if it is...then why all the gloom and the cloudy days?

I guess the stormy days and the pain of losing one thing over another simply shows you how choices are inevitable in life. And what you choose could affect you in a million ways. So choose wisely. But who is to say that we are wise. We can't even be rational and emotionally self aware sometimes. Such an irony.

Hehe. This is the first group pix of the 'WAVERYDERS'!!! I love this team!!! Yup. This is a shot of me beloved canoe polo teammates after games day on sun. Sadly 2 of them are missing. Ariel and Ting2. Hopefully they'll get well reeeeaaalllly soon cuz i kinda miss trainings with them.

Anyways...sun was our 1st official canoe polo game against the senior gals. N hehe i was actually really happy to have blocked 4 of their shots. Mmm...was thinking that maybe Weiti's paddle (since he is also a keeper) had some kinda 'magic'. We lost 3-0 but i guess we did out up quite a good fight! Defence was not bad! Pity i am not so use to shouting and directing the team people yet. We should all jia you during the hols!!! Oh and Xinning managed to cap Weiti!!! Haha. We were all damn impressed!!! No more 'gaying' around!!! Haha. They're all going down!!!

And it was damn cool to watch the nat team and red tide going against the senior gals and guys. It was like a whole array of matches back to back. Very exhilirating indeed. And the nat team gals are really damn seh. One of whom Kim thought was damn cool. N whom i embarrassed myself in front of (cuz i couldn't catch the ball she threw back at me despite it being a damn short distance away...) ^-^

Well...i had better be off to zzz now. Barely zzzed yst cuz i had to finish my film essay. Stayed up till 7 plus to finish the whole damn thing and there's presentation tmr at 10. Bleh! I wanna go trekking! I wanna play canoe polo! I hate exams! And i don't wanna study!

My back hurts...
But *look of relief* thanx to dad's awesome massage...it's alot better now.
Can't thank him enough.
But my butt still hurts.
