How can something like that happen when national champs is just around the corner? Frustration alert. Can't even throw my right arm forward without being squemish about the pain. Can't twist. Can't do a ball-throwing motion. FTS!!! Here's praying that it'll go away come saturday. 3 matches in a day. God...please don't kill me like that. Anywayz...just celebrated my buddy's 21st birthday yst. Got her a freaking cool drumset. Uh huh. Brand new vintage red drumset. Will post the pictures up soon. Did her a small model of it as well - just so we could save cost on a birthday card. LOL. Turned out pretty neat though. Told her that since we couldn't afford a real drumset she'll have to settle for a model one...which tied in nicely with our surprise plan cuz she would now not suspect that we actually did get her a real one. Heh. Then it was on to taking her out for dinner at a vegetarian restaurant called "Indinine". I was really impressed. Food was realllllllly good. *drools* So guys...remember to check this place out. Its at suntec city level 3. Just above tower records. The portobello supreme or surprise (i can't remember which) and the tomato cream soup is gorgeous!!! Do try the pappadum wrapped tofu as well. Yum!!!
So...the painstaking research that was made did pay off. Now i know almost all the vegetarian eateries in singapore. All thanx to having veggie friends. Heh. Post dinner activities was then the huge drumset surprise...cake cutting (unfortunately no smashing)...along with home-popped popcorn...movie marathon (which of cuz HAD to included her favourite actors) loadsa chips and alcohol...and a great deal of pillows and blankies!!! Heh. And to end the entire celebration...we went to SPCA this morning to check out all the poor kitties and pups. Aww. Really cute. Poor girl had an allergic reaction though. So we had to leave the place after it got pretty bad. So there. The second major birthday celebration i helped to plan this year. *thinks* How many more to go? People have been asking how i would like to celebrate mine. To be honest...i am not really keen on doing anything fancy. Well...mine's a long way to go still...so no point thinking about it now ainnit? Heh. So i'll just chill.
"The Butterfly Effect" is what i call good entertainment. Ashton is hot. Intersting plot. Ashton is hot. Very intriguing theories of memory. Ashton is hot. Cool visual effects. Ashton is hot. Heh. But seriously...ashton aside. This is a pretty decent film. Quite cheem if you ask me. Can't help it since its all about the chaos theory and what is known in psychology as the butterfly effect. Pardon me if i am wrong but i think it has something to do with our memory and stuff like that. Hmm. Tried googling it and the sites it directed me to were wayyyyyy to technical. Cheem cheem. Anywayz...this flick deserves 4 outta 5 popcorns!!!
